I'm wondering how I might go about or if there is a way to find out if I might have a child who'd have been born in 1975 in Los Angeles. I was once contacted via letter while on the road with a company when I was 23 years old about possibly being the father of a child. Im pretty sure it was the children's society in los angeles that sent the letter. Id laughed it off as ludicrous but have recently had some recessed memories present themselves through therapy and it's possible it could be true. Obviously, at this point in time it would make little difference or probably matter to said possible child but if for some reason, there's been anyone looking for their father that was born in 75/76 and hasn't found them, I'd be happy to give a dna sample in the off chance there's a match to someone looking for their biological father etc.
